Tampering is one of the most controversial topics in sports. While it's outlawed to do it in public, the consensus is that players are trying to recruit each other behind closed doors. However, sometimes, you'll catch the occasional glimpse of one athlete trying to get another to join their team in public.

That happened on Thursday night when Green Bay Packers WR Davante Adams appeared to try and recruit Los Angeles WR four-time Pro-Bowler Keenan Allen.

Allen wrote on Twitter: "Just wanna remind yall that me and Keenan Allen would go for 300 yards a game. Ayte bet enjoy ya night!!"

While Adams didn't outright say "Allen should join the Packers," to avoid getting in trouble, it's not hard to read between the lines. And you know what? He's not entirely wrong. Keenan Allen could probably put up monstrous numbers with Packers QB Aaron Rodgers throwing him the ball.

In eight seasons with the Chargers, Allen has 624 receptions for 7,397 yards and 42 touchdowns. Most of these passes have come from talented quarterbacks like Philip Rivers and now Justin Herbert, but neither of those men is Aaron Rodgers. The Packers' gun-slinger threw for 4,299 yards and 48 touchdowns to 5 interceptions last season. Meanwhile, Adams was the only real pass-catching threat that he had, so his numbers could be even more insane if he had Allen at his disposal.

The Packers currently have +1200 odds to win the Super Bowl, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. If the team ever somehow managed to land Allen, it's easy to see those odds improving even more.
