Darren Waller Fantasy Value Explodes With Breakout Performance Against Packers in Week 7
By Zach Brunner

One of the biggest fantasy breakouts of the 2019 season through seven weeks has been Oakland Raiders tight end Darren Waller, who turned in yet another terrific performance against the Green Bay Packers, setting a franchise record in the process.
Darren Waller surpassed Tim Brown for the most receptions by a player in franchise history through the first six games of the season.

Waller caught seven passes for 126 yards and two touchdowns against the Packers, which by far was the best tight end performance of the week (pending Monday Night Football), totaling 31.6 fantasy points in PPR leagues.
Through six games this season, Waller has now racked up 44 catches for 485 yards and two touchdowns. As a matchup nightmare for opponents, being too fast for linebackers and too big for safeties, Waller has been the focal point of the passing offense in Oakland, leading the team in targets by a huge margin. His 50 nearly double the second highest mark of 26 (for Hunter Renfrow).
This performance has led him to be the second overall tight end in fantasy, just behind Atlanta Falcons' Austin Hooper. Waller's 17.5 PPR fantasy points per game would hold up well at other positions too, and would put him just ahead of Julio Jones and DeAndre Hopkins at WR5.
We have signed Darren Waller to a multi-year contract extension.

Waller is a former wide receiver converted to tight end. So while he is dominating the league at tight end, he may not have reached his ceiling yet as he continues to learn the position. This means the sky is the limit for Waller's impact for the Raiders and for your fantasy football team.
