Darius Slay Hints at Next Potential Team After Eagles Release

The Philadelphia Eagles decided to say goodbye to a key defensive piece on Wednesday, revealing their plans to release cornerback Darius Slay. He'll hit the open market once the move is official, and the five-time Pro Bowler is sure to have plenty of interest.
In fact, Slay has already been teasing what team he could join following his exit from Philly.

Slay responded on Twitter to not one, but two possible landing spots: the Jacksonville Jaguars and Atlanta Falcons. He used an eyeball emoji for each, which seems to indicate at least some level of interest, or he wouldn't have replied at all.
The 32-year-old is in the back half of his career, but he's showing no signs of slowing down. He's earned two straight Pro Bowl nods, plus another three selections in the four seasons before this stretch as well.
It'll certainly be tough for Eagles fans to watch Slay be courted by other squads after serving as a cornerstone of this secondary since 2019. However, the resulting cap space from his release will provide immense help as Philly prepares to pay for big extensions for young core pieces.
