Daniel Jones Injury Update Diminishes Fantasy Outlook

The New York Giants earned an important win on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals, but the victory also came with the loss of quarterback Daniel Jones due to a hamstring injury. With Jones expected to miss game time, it diminishes his fantasy outlook.

Daniel Jones Fantasy Outlook
Jones was in the middle of a solid outing before being forced to leave in the third quarter against the Bengals. He completed 16 passes for 213 yards and rushed for an additional 19 yards on 6 attempts. The QB hasn't wowed this season through the air, averaging 20.7 completions and 212.3 yards per game, but he provided a solid running presence (team-leading 403 rushing yards) at quarterback.
No fantasy manager likely relies on Jones every week in their lineup, but he does rank as QB14 in PPR leagues this season. His 13.4 fantasy points per game were still something for managers to add to their weekly score. Jones was just coming off of his most productive game of the season, totaling 22.16 fantasy points against the Philadelphia Eagles thanks to a productive day on the ground (64 yards, 1 TD).
Colt McCoy Fantasy Outlook
Managers in two-QB leagues or in deeper leagues could even consider Colt McCoy, who replaced Jones at QB on Sunday following his injury. The Giants have an intriguing matchup against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 13, whose defense is giving up the most fantasy points (24.45) to opposing QBs this season.
