In news that probably made the morning of sports fans in Washington D.C., it was reported that Washington Commanders owner Dan Snyder was working with Bank of America to consider the sale of the franchise.

Long considered the least popular owner in the NFL, Snyder could finally be on his way out in Washington.

While there's no official guarantee the team's majority stake will be sold (it could just be a minority stake, or it could just truly be an evaluation), chances are this points to Snyder's tenure as owner of the Commanders coming to a close.

He has been especially under fire the past few years with reports an investigations into various bad work place accusations, along with other owners speaking out against Snyder's ownership. Basically Snyder is the least popular guy the NFL and has been for some time, now he could be ousted because of it.

It's sure a situation to monitor closely as we could see another NFL team officially go up for sake in the not too distant future.
