Damien Williams Fantasy Value Skyrockets Following Massive Game Against Vikings in Week 9
By Max Staley

Damien Williams received quite a bit of attention from fantasy circles this offseason, but a lot of that hype was squashed when the Kansas City Chiefs signed LeSean McCoy prior to the year.
Williams has missed two games due to injuries, and McCoy has capped his ceiling a bit, as Williams hasn't reached a 60 percent snap share since Week 1. Still, he had an absolutely massive game in Week 9, which suggests his fantasy value is on the rise.

Williams broke out with a 91-yard touchdown run midway through the third quarter, which was the longest run of the year thus far. While that type of production is obviously difficult to sustain, there are some other numbers that point to Williams' value being on the rise.
As of the writing of this article, Williams has been used as the team's clear-cut lead back against the Minnesota Vikings, handling 10 carries to McCoy's three. He also out-snapped McCoy in Week 8, seeing 25 snaps to McCoy's 23.
Tyreek Hill reached a max speed of 22.64 MPH and beat Damien Williams to the goal line on Williams' 91-yard TD run.

With 126 yards from scrimmage and a TD, Williams has delivered a huge performance to anyone that started him this week. Thankfully for Williams' fantasy owners, his recent workload suggests his value could continue to improve.
