The New England Patriots will be without starting running back Damien Harris when they take on a divisional opponent in the Miami Dolphins in Week 15. He has been ruled out due to an ankle injury that will cause him to miss his fourth game of the season.

This update obviously crushes any value Harris had this week in fantasy football, but it does improve the fantasy outlook of backup running back Sony Michel. He is now expected to take on the bulk of the carries this Sunday afternoon.

Sony Michel Fantasy Outlook

Sony Michel came into this season expected to be the team's starter, but has dealt with various injuries and setbacks that caused him fall back into a backup role. He has rushed for 230 yards on 43 carries (5.3 yards per attempt) and scored a touchdown so far this season.

We are deep into the fantasy football playoffs and it is rare to see a potential starter rostered in just 18% of leagues right now. Michel could be in for a solid day as Miami is giving up 120.2 rushing yards per game this season (No. 20 in the NFL).

With the passing attack almost nonexistent, we could see the Patriots lean on the running game more than usual. Rostering any part of the Patriots' backfield is always risky, but Michel has FLEX potential this week. He'd be a great depth add right now and is a Week 15 sleeper.
