D.J. Moore Fantasy Outlook Remains High Against Colts in Week 16 Despite Will Grier Starting at Quarterback
By Zach Brunner

The Carolina Panthers' backfield has looked very different this season, with Kyle Allen replacing the injured Cam Newton early on in the year. Now, there will be yet another new face, with rookie Will Grier making his first start. A quarterback switch is sure to impact the rest of the offense, but wide receiver D.J. Moore's fantasy outlook is still plenty high in Week 16, facing the Indianapolis Colts.

A new quarterback can be scary for fantasy owners, since we don't know who the new guy has a connection with and how poised they will look in their first start. Luckily, the switch from Allen to Grier might not be too much of a step down, if at all, especially given the former's poor play of late.
Still, Allen had an obvious connection with Moore, with the standout wide receiver leading the league in receiving yards (711) and air yards (913) since Week 9. However, the matchup this week with the Colts should allow Moore to remain a solid fantasy starter.
Over the past five weeks, the Colts have surrendered the most PPR fantasy points to wide receivers, allowing 49.3 per game. Indianapolis' secondary is beat up with injuries, which should only strengthen Moore's outlook for success.
Since Week 9, Panthers WR DJ Moore has 48 catches (2nd most in NFL), 711 yards (1st), 75 targets (1st) and four 100-yard receiving games (2nd).

He's already made the leap to star receiver in his second NFL season.
Moore is ranked as WR16 in our Week 16 PPR rankings this week, and he continues to possess plenty of upside. Feel comfortable slotting him in your lineup as usual.
