Cowboys Exec Reveals Notable Trade Interest in No. 10 Pick
By Larry Rupp

The Dallas Cowboys head into the 2021 NFL Draft with a top-10 overall pick for the first time since they took Ezekeil Elliott at No. 4 in 2016. They find themselves in an interesting spot as there seems to be growing interest in the pick from other NFL teams.
Cowboys' Executive Vice President Stephen Jones recently revealed the team is starting to receive phone calls about trading the No. 10 pick. No one truly knows how serious teams are about acquiring the pick, but we have already seen the San Francisco 49ers move up into the top 10 of this draft.
Cowboys EVP Stephen Jones on @1053thefan of trade interest for team's No. 10 overall pick: "We're starting to get a few calls, and I think it will only pick up as we get closer to next Thursday."

Cowboys Trade Rumors
This is an important pick for the Cowboys given they look primed to bounce back in 2021 if everyone can stay healthy. Quarterback Dak Prescott should be able to return from his ankle injury and multiple offensive line starters are set to be back on the field in time for Week 1 kickoff.
If Dallas was to trade this pick, they would likely receive a pretty hefty package of draft capital in return. Otherwise, the Cowboys are projected to take a defensive back such as Patrick Surtain II or Jaycee Horn with their first-round pick.
All things considered, this would be a bit of a surprising move as the Cowboys have obvious needs to address in this draft. However, you never know what owner Jerry Jones has up his sleeve. This is a storyline worth watching all the way up until Dallas is on the clock Thursday night.
