The Dallas Cowboys are seemingly doing whatever they can do to hand the Philadelphia Eagles a playoff spot. The Cowboys kicked Week 14 off with a loss on "Thursday Night Football" to the Chicago Bears, which leaves the door even more wide open for Philadelphia to capitalize and make a run at the NFC East.

Odds of Cowboys Making Playoffs

At 6-7, the Cowboys have a losing record for the first time all season, and they are at serious risk of missing the playoffs if they do not turn things around. And with the Cowboys facing another potential NFC playoff team in the Los Angeles Rams in Week 15, followed by a game against the Eagles in Week 16, the road ahead is not easy for Dallas.

By the latest odds to win the NFC East, FanDuel Sportsbook still favors the Cowboys (-140) over the Eagles (+115). The race for the NFC East crown is even more important this year, as both the Cowboys and Eagles face +22000 odds of earning the NFC Wild Card position. Overall, Dallas has -152 odds of making the NFL playoffs ahead of Week 15.

Football Outsiders gives Dallas a 68.5 percent chance to make the playoffs, which is a drop of 8.4 percent, due to Thursday's loss.

An Eagles' win over the 2-10 New York Giants in Week 15 on "Monday Night Football" would also give them a 6-7 record, which would then make the Week 16 battle with the Cowboys that much more decisive for the playoff hunt.

Either way you look at it, the Cowboys' postseason hopes are really shaping up to be determined in that Week 16 battle with Philadelphia.
