The Dallas Cowboys were stuck with a combination of Andy Dalton and Ben DiNucci at QB for much of the 2020 season, and unsurprisingly they stumbled to a losing record.

Going 6-10 without their franchise quarterback isn't all that bad, however, and with Dak Prescott back under center Cowboys fans have their sights set on a deep playoff run.

They're not getting much love from FanDuel Sportsbook's Week 1 betting markets, however.

Opening the season on Thursday Night Football, the Cowboys are huge 6.5-point underdogs against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Sure the Bucs are the reigning Super Bowl champs, but 6.5 points is one of the biggest spreads of the week.

Prescott was playing like one of the league's best quarterbacks when he was healthy in 2020, earning an offensive grade of 85.2 from Pro Football Focus. That had him ranked eighth among all QBs.

With a star-studded skill position group headlined by (a reportedly healthy) Amari Cooper, CeeDee Lamb, Ezekiel Elliott and Michael Gallup, Dak and the Cowboys are set to be one of the NFL's most dangerous offenses this season.

Almost as important as getting Prescott back is that the Cowboys' offensive line will be healthy again. All-pro Zack Martin was limited to 10 games in 2020, and only two linemen (Terence Steel and Connor Williams) made it through more than 12 games for Dallas.

The Bucs return the majority of their Super Bowl winning roster, but Dallas looks like a legitimate contender (No. 11 in FanDuel's Super Bowl odds), and a 6.5-point spread is a real insult to the Cowboys.
