On Tuesday night, Los Angeles Dodgers' shortstop Corey Seager suffered a Grade 2 hamstring strain while running the bases. The injury is expected to cost Seager four to six weeks, cueing his fantasy baseball owners to head to the waiver wire to add a viable replacement.

Here are three shortstops that you might consider plugging into your fantasy lineup to replace Seager for the next few weeks.

1. Asdrúbal Cabrera, Texas Rangers

Asdrúbal Cabrera has gotten off to an incredibly hot start to the month of June, batting .421 with nine RBI, seven runs scored and a homer in 38 at-bats. The 33-year-old has been solid all season for the Texas Rangers, tallying 10 home runs and 40 RBI though 58 games. If Cabrera is available in your fantasy league (he's owned in 49 percent of Yahoo! Fantasy Baseball leagues), he's the kind of player that could do just enough to keep your team afloat with Seager sidelined.

2. Scott Kingery, Philadelphia Phillies

Scott Kingery has started the last 14 games for the Phillies and seems to have earned an everyday role in Philadelphia. In 10 June games, Kingery is batting .297 with four home runs, 11 RBI and seven runs scored. While he only has two stolen bases on the year, Kingery stole 10 in 13 attempts last season, making him a multi-category threat for Seager owners.

3. Marcus Semien, Oakland Athletics

Marcus Semien is solid shortstop option as a replacement for Seager with perennial 15-15 potential. He has a .275 batting average with nine home runs, 34 RBI, 43 runs scored and five stolen bases in 68 games this season and bats leadoff for the Athletics. While Semien is owned in about two-thirds of Yahoo! Fantasy Baseball leagues, if he's still on your waiver wire make the shortstop a priority add to your lineup once Seager is officially placed on the IL.
