Colts WR Sidelined Following Car Accident on Wednesday

Training camp injuries are an unfortunate but also unsurprising feature of the weeks leading up to the NFL season. However, those are usually expected to come on the field.
For Indianapolis Colts WR Parris Campbell, simply driving to practice brought a scary situation.
Colts WR Parris Campbell missed practice today after getting in a minor car accident on the way to the team facility. He’s in concussion protocol at the moment.

Reports of the accident being "minor" are encouraging, and hopefully, being placed in the concussion protocol is just a formality.
The 2020 season could be a big one for Campbell, who is returning after breaking his foot in his 2019 rookie season.
The second-round pick will be vying for snaps in a crowded wide receiver corps that also includes T.Y. Hilton, Zach Pascal and Michael Pittman Jr.

Hopefully Campbell clears the concussion protocol quickly and is able to get back on the field to continue building rapport with new Colts QB Philip Rivers.
Indy is sitting as a -198 favorite to make the playoffs in 2020, according to odds from FanDuel Sportsbook.
