All eyes are on Carson Wentz and the Philadelphia Eagles as trade talks are actively ongoing. While one team has already bowed out of the Wentz sweepstakes, the Indianapolis Colts are one of the frontrunners to land the former No. 2 overall pick.

However, the Colts have an interesting trade demand for any Wentz deal, which adds a new element to negotiations.

According to a report, Indianapolis is asking for additional compensation in any deal because they believe the Eagles are asking for too much in exchange just for Wentz. The Colts would like something back -- players or picks -- to justify Philadelphia's asking price.

It seems as though the Eagles' aggressive trade stance regarding their former starter is beginning to come back to bite them. The New England Patriots decided to move on from any Wentz trade, and things now seem down to the Colts and Chicago Bears, the latter of which is reportedly growing impatient.

Philadelphia appears unwilling to back down from their expectations in a Wentz trade so far. They're looking for a decent haul, akin to the one the Detroit Lions got for Matthew Stafford, although they should seriously consider more realistic deals to resolve this drama.

The Eagles might not have as much leverage as they think, and they risk losing out on a potentially decent trade package if they don't budge on their demands.
