The 2019 College World Series has been trimmed to eight teams, and the field is SEC heavy.

Four SEC schools remain in the hunt — Vanderbilt, Arkansas, Mississippi State and Auburn. Vanderbilt and Arkansas are the co-favorites to win it all, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, with +300 odds. Mississippi State is close behind at +350, and Auburn is more of a longshot at +1000.

After going 45-10 in the regular season, Vanderbilt was the opening favorite to win the College World Series just a week ago. Freshman pitcher Kumar Rocker pitched one of the greatest games in college history over the weekend, saving his team's season with a 19-strikeout no-hitter against Duke.

Top-ranked UCLA was upset by Michigan over the weekend. Despite being among the last four into the 64-team field, Michigan has found its way to its first College World Series since 1984. The Wolverines are the biggest longshot remaining, with +1500 odds.

Florida State was also among the last four in, but the Seminoles are also in the elite eight and have +1000 odds to win it all. Louisville (+800) and Texas Tech (+800) round out the remaining teams.

Games are set to pick back up on Saturday, June 15. And as Michigan proved last weekend, anything can happen.
