The long wait is about to come to an end, with the 2019 college football season set to kick off in just under two weeks. Thankfully, the folks over at FanDuel Sportsbook have already posted the college football betting lines for Week 1's games.
With that in mind, let's take a look at some of the most interesting takeaways from the first slate of games.
Clemson is the reigning national champion, so the team's inclusion here should come as no surprise, but it's interesting to see Nebraska (4-8 in 2018) as such a hefty favorite.
Additionally, while FanDuel Sportsbook hasn't posted each game's over/under total yet, the largest current figure belongs to the matchup between Arizona and Hawaii. The over/under total is set at 70 points, while the next closest mark is 65 in the matchup between Colorado and Colorado State.
A lot is sure to change in the next 12 days leading up to the 2019 college football season, but as things currently stand, both Clemson and Nebraska look like they'll need to score lots of points to cover these Week 1 spreads.
