Cody Bellinger's Projections For the 2020 MLB Season Will Get Dodgers Fans Hyped

The plans for the 2020 MLB season have been made official, and Los Angeles Dodgers fans have a lot to be excited about. The team is tied for the highest projected regular season win total, is favored to win the World Series and has a new superstar on the roster in Mookie Betts.

Giving them one more thing to get hyped about, FanDuel Sportsbook's prop bets are projecting Cody Bellinger for an incredible season.

Bellinger has the fourth-best odds of any player to take home the National League MVP award in 2020, at +800. That's not far behind even the first-placed Christian Yelich, whose +600 odds represent an edge of only 3.2 percentage points over Bellinger.

Additionally, Bellinger ranks in the top five in the odds to lead the MLB in home runs in the regular season, at +1700, That's only an implied probability 3.5 percentage points behind the favored Pete Alonso (+1000)

Bellinger is, of course, the reigning NL MVP, and he finished fourth in the majors with 47 homers. Dodgers fans have to love seeing that the soon-to-be-25-year-old is projected to continue playing at just as high a level in 2020.
