Clyde Edwards-Helaire Injury Update Boosts Darrel Williams Fantasy Outlook in Week 17
By Max Staley

The Kansas City Chiefs have ruled out Clyde Edwards-Helaire for Week 17. The running back has been dealing with a shoulder issue and hadn't been able to suit up for practice all throughout the week.
His absence creates a huge opportunity for his backfield mate Darrel Williams.

Darrel Williams Fantasy
Williams should be stepping into a huge role now that CEH has been ruled out. We've seen him play five games as the starter, and he averaged just under 100 yards from scrimmage on 19.2 opportunities (targets plus carries) per game.
He will have a pretty tough matchup this week, though. The Cincinnati Bengals are the league's seventh-best rush defense by DVOA and have surrendered the fourth-fewest rushing yards in the NFL.
Williams should be a rock-solid RB2 thanks to the big workload he's likely to see, but he could struggle to have an efficient day on the ground.
