Christian Yelich Hilariously Roasts Himself on Twitter After Home Run vs. Dodgers

Christian Yelich's drought came to an end in a big way Tuesday night. Yelich launched a 451-foot bomb to right field in the fifth inning against the Los Angeles Dodgers, snapping his previous 0-for-26 slump and giving him his first home run since July 2.
Milwaukee went on to win 5-4 as well, making things even sweeter. Yelich was in a joking mood after the game, posting a hilarious self-roast on Twitter.

Yelich tweeted out a video of his home run from Tuesday spliced between the famous clip from "The Titanic" when Rose says "it's been 84 years..." This is an obvious dig at himself considering how long it's been since he went yard.
Aside from his overall homer drought, Yelich was on an even longer dry spell at American Family Field. His last dinger in front of the home crowd occurred all the way back on May 5, so it has to be a relief to finally put that slump behind him.
Hopefully Tuesday's power display proves to be a turning point for the former NL MVP down the stretch. He's managed to hit a meager 9 homers with an underwhelming 36 RBIs this season, which has played a big part in Milwaukee's offensive struggles in 2022.
If Yelich can get back to his old ways, that'd be massive for the Brewers as they try to keep pace in the NL Central. Milwaukee is second at +175 to win the division, according to MLB odds on FanDuel Sportsbook.
