Now 50-plus games in the 2019 MLB season, Christian Yelich leads all hitters with 21 home runs. However, there are quite a few batters hot on Yelich's tail, with a total of nine players having already hit at least 17 round-trippers.

Yelich is currently tied with Joey Gallo, at +400 odds, to lead the MLB in regular season home runs in 2019, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

That Gallo has the same odds as Yelich is a bit surprising, as the Texas Rangers' slugger has only hit 15 home runs this season, while players like Cody Bellinger (+450), Pete Alonso (+900) and Josh Bell (+1500) have all hit at least 18.

The home-run leaders from 2018, Khris Davis (48 homers) and J.D. Martinez (43), are both dealing with injuries, and neither has reached 13 home runs yet this season. Their odds reflect that with Davis at +2000 and Martinez at +1800 to lead the Majors in 2019.

While Yelich and Gallo are currently favored to have the most homers this season, we're sure to see a lot more long balls before the 2019 crown is finally decided.
