This past weekend was an exciting time to be a Carolina Panthers fan. Not only did they upset the Arizona Cardinals, but they did so with help from the returning Cam Newton. While a lot of people were pumped to see the veteran gunslinger back in black and blue, no one was more excited than Christian McCaffrey.

When Newton scored opened the scoring with a rushing touchdown, McCaffrey celebrated bizarrely, just swinging his arms side-to-side.

Unsurprisingly, reporters asked him about his unique celebration, leading to a hilarious response from the Panthers No. 1 RB.

McCaffrey told reporters that he "blacked out" after the touchdown and clarified that whatever he was doing certainly wasn't a dance move. He even took it a bit further, comparing it to the lead character from Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby.

"I don't know what that [celebration] was. Like Ricky Bobby, you don't know what to do with your hands. You kinda just flail them around so, that's pretty much what that was."

Even if his celebration makes sense, you can't blame McCaffrey for being as excited as he was. The Panthers offense looked rejuvenated with Newton back in town. In addition to his rushing touchdown, he completed 3-of-4 passes with a passing TD to Robby Anderson.

McCaffrey also had a solid performance in his second game back following a five-week absence. He ended the day with 13 rushes for 95 yards and 10 receptions for another 66 yards.

The Panthers will look to continue their new momentum in a Week 11 meeting with the Washington Football Team. Carolina is FanDuel Sportsbook's 3-point favorite, so only time will tell if McCaffrey has something worth celebrating again.
