Christian McCaffrey Fantasy Outlook Remains Sky High With Massive Game Against Jaguars in Week 5

Christian McCaffrey was already the highest scoring running back in fantasy football heading into Week 5, and with more than 200 yards from scrimmage against the Jacksonville Jaguars, he should remain the top-ranked RB heading into Week 6.

Christian McCaffrey Fantasy Points
McCaffrey had 86.9 standard scoring and 111.9 PPR points coming into Sunday's game, and then he racked up 25 touches for 237 total yard and three touchdowns. That's 47.7 PPR points and 41.7 standard points in Week 5 against the Jags.
The Carolina running back had a poor game in Week 2, but he's now topped 27.8 PPR points per game the other four contests. It doesn't seem to matter whether it's Cam Newton or Kyle Allen at QB — McCaffrey appears to be a lock for elite volume and fantasy production in any given week.

After ranking second among RBs in PPR points last year and 10th as a rookie in 2017, McCaffrey looks to have firmly established himself as the top back in PPR fantasy football. Truth is, you can also make the argument in standard scoring leagues as well at this point. On pace for more than 2,500 yards from scrimmage, McCaffrey is well on his way to a historic 2019 season as a must-start RB1 each and every week.
