Chiefs Open as Massive Favorites With AFC No. 1 Seed on the Line in Week 18

Another stellar performance by Cincinnati Bengals' quarterback Joe Burrow led to a heartbreaking loss for the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 17. More importantly, it caused them to drop from the No. 1 seed in the AFC down to the No. 2 seed. Everything is on the line with just one more week to go.

Chiefs No. 1 Seed

The Chiefs have opened up as massive favorites in Week 18 when they travel to Mile High and take on the Denver Broncos. Andy Reid's squad is a 10-point road favorite, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. This game is the first one on the schedule during the final weekend on the regular season.

Kansas City has no choice but to play this one at full strength given the No. 1 seed is still up for grabs. All that is needed for the Chiefs to climb back on top is a win coupled with a Tennessee Titans loss. However, the Titans have won three of their last four games and now face the lowly Houston Texans.

Keep in mind that the Texans have already pulled off a massive upset over the Titans once this season, though. Houston took down head coach Mike Vrabel & company by a score of 22-13 back in Week 11. FanDuel Sportsbook still has Tennessee slated as a 10.5-point road favorite on Sunday.

Quarterback Patrick Mahomes has shown he is not afraid of the big moments and should have his team fired up for this one. The highly-coveted bye week remains in reach if everything can go right in Week 18. The Chiefs/Broncos matchup is set to kick off at 4:30 p.m. EST on Saturday, January 8.
