The Kansas City Chiefs came into this free agency period with some pretty clear-cut holes on the roster. The most obvious issue was the offensive line, which the team has tried to address by signing big-name players like Joe Thuney and Kyle Long.

Cornerback was another area of need, though, and the team has been much quieter on that front. Thankfully for Chiefs fans, the team is bringing in K'Waun Williams, a really underrated CB, for a visit on Monday.

K'Waun Williams Chiefs

Though he dealt with injuries in 2020, Williams has been an excellent slot cornerback since entering the league.

In his six NFL seasons, ProFootballFocus has never given him a grade below 66.2 (which he received in the injury-plagued 2020 campaign). He also boasts three seasons with a grade of at least 71.7, including a stellar 89.0 which he received as a rookie.

Williams would be an excellent addition in the slot for Kansas City.

With Rashad Fenton, L'Jarius Sneed, (likely) Charvarius Ward and Williams, this CB group suddenly would look pretty dangerous, especially with Tyrann Mathieu erasing things on the backend.

Williams would be another really savvy addition from GM Brett Veach.

As things stand, the Chiefs are the early favorites, at +500, in FanDuel Sportsbook's odds to win Super Bowl LVI.
