Patrick Mahomes has accomplished a lot in his six-year NFL career. The Kansas City Chiefs gunslinger has already won an MVP award and led his team to a Super Bowl title, all while making countless jaw-dropping throws.

One thing he's never done before, however, is being a home underdog. That's about to change this week.

Bills vs Chiefs Week 6 Odds

The Chiefs are currently listed as 2.5-point home underdogs against the Buffalo Bills on FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds. No, those odds are not a misprint.

As good as Kansas City has been this year, Buffalo has been even better. While both teams are 4-1 to begin the year, the Bills have been more dominant and are the more complete team. They rank second in offensive scoring and are allowing the fewest points in the NFL, possessing arguably the best offense and defense.

The Chiefs, not surprisingly, are the only team that's scored more points than the Bills this year. Kansas City's defense has not been nearly as strong, however, giving up the 10th-most points in the NFL.

The difference between these two AFC powerhouses is also reflected in FanDuel's Super Bowl odds. Buffalo is favored to win it all this year at +400, while KC has the third-best odds at +650 behind Buffalo and the Philadelphia Eagles.

In other words, there's a very good chance that one of the teams in this Week 6 showdown at Arrowhead Stadium will be playing in the Super Bowl in a few months. Mahomes may be the underdog for once, but bet against him at your own risk.
