Almost as much of a no-brainer as Joe Burrow to the Cincinnati Bengals at No. 1, it's no surprise that the Washington Redskins selected Ohio State's Chase Young No. 2 overall in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Defensive Rookie of the Year Odds 2020

Coming off a 16.5-sack campaign at Ohio State, Young currently has the best odds to win the 2020-21 Defensive Rookie of the Year Award, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

Young is available at +400, putting some distance between himself and Isaiah Simmons (+950), who has the second-best odds. Simmons is arguably the most versatile defender in the class, though, having racked up 104 tackles, 16.5 tackles for loss, 8 sacks and 3 interceptions last season.

Following that top two, A.J. Epenesa has the third-best odds at +1300. It's a bit of a surprise to see Epenesa this high in the odds, given that he's generally projected to be selected much later than stars like Young and Simmons.

Patrick Queen (+1700), Jeff Okudah (+2100) and Kenneth Murray (+2100) round out the rest of the top six in the odds.

Interestingly, eight of the last 10 winners of the award have been either a linebacker or defensive lineman. Cornerbacks have only won two of the last 10, so Okudah could be fighting an uphill battle.

While Young is currently the favorite to win the Defensive Rookie of the Year Award, these odds will likely continue to shift as the draft progresses and we see more landing spots made official.
