Shohei Ohtani was at it again on Wednesday. The 2021 AL MVP followed up his 2-home run and 8-RBI showing on Tuesday by blanking the Kansas City Royals and only allowing two hits over eight innings.

Ohtani's two-way abilities are a surprise to no one, but that didn't stop pitching legend CC Sabathia from being impressed.

Sabathia called Ohtani "ridiculous" for his performance over the past two games, which included 13 strikeouts during his start on Wednesday. It's just cool to see someone as accomplished as Sabathia appreciating Ohtani's unique ability to dominate in both facets.

The almost 28-year-old is in the midst of putting together another impressive season as a dual threat. He's recorded 15 home runs and 45 RBIs while slashing .260/.336/.487 in 69 games. He's also 6-4 over 12 starts, pitching to a 2.90 ERA along with 90 K's in 68.1 innings.

With more outings like the past two days, Ohtani would be in prime position to repeat as AL MVP. He's currently second on FanDuel Sportsbook with +350 odds, trailing only Aaron Judge (+100).
