Pittsburgh Steelers fans are excited about the 2020 season, and why wouldn't they be? Super Bowl-winning quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is making his return alongside an exciting skill position group, the same great offensive line and an exciting young defense that carried them to an 8-8 record last year despite some of the league's worst quarterback play.

However, as confident as some Pittsburgh fans are, CBS might be even more confident in the 2020 Steelers. Bryan DeArdo wrote about three bold predictions for this year's Steelers team and his expectations are through the roof on both a team and individual basis.

DeArdo thinks Ben Roethlisberger will be an All-Pro quarterback again, T.J. Watt will win Defensive Player of the Year and the team will reach the Super Bowl.

Roethlisberger is coming off surgery in his throwing arm, but reports are this is the strongest his arm has been in years. When we last saw the 38-year-old quarterback in 2018 he was just as good as ever, throwing for a league-leading 5,129 yards, and 34 touchdowns to go along with that.

Watt is arguably the most important and best player on the Steelers defense. His sack count has gone up every season and finished 2019 with 14.5 and 36 QB hits. If he can further build upon those numbers, it will be impossible to keep him out of the DPOY conversation.

Lastly, getting to the Super Bowl might not be as bold as it sounds. Outside of Kansas City and Baltimore, can any other AFC team be called definitively better than Pittsburgh? As mentioned above, this is a young and talented team that has another year of experience together and is now getting its star quarterback under center again. If Mike Tomlin has them playing up to their potential, the sky is the limit for the Steelers this season.
