Cardinals Fans Will Love MLB All-Star Voting Results

Phase 1 of the 2022 MLB All-Star Game's voting is well underway. Although there's plenty of time before the American League and National League starters are officially announced, that hasn't stopped St. Louis Cardinals fans from loving the early results.
No Mets lead All-Star voting at their positions, but two (Pete Alonso, Starling Marte) are on pace to reach the second phase of voting.

2022 MLB All-Star Game Voting
Cardinals fans are loving the early 2022 MLB All-Star game voting results because several fan favorites are poised to make the game. For example, Paul Goldschmidt leads all NL first basemen with over 930,000 votes after recording 16 home runs, 58 RBIs and a .339/.417/.614 slash line in 66 games.
While he isn't in a starter spot, third baseman Nolan Arenado sits second in his positional race, nearly 400,000 votes behind the San Diego Padres' Manny Machado. Nevertheless, Arenado is still on pace to reach the second phase of voting if he holds his spot.
Catcher Yadier Molina and designated hitter Albert Pujols are amassing votes during their retirement tour, with both men sitting third when it comes to their respective positional voting. Meanwhile, other Cardinals players like shortstop Tommy Edman and outfielder Harrison Bader are also in the top 10 of their own positions.
Cardinals fans still have plenty of time to push their favorite players into the next round of voting. The 2022 MLB All-Star Game's Phase 1 voting wraps up on Thursday, June 30 at 2 p.m. ET.
