The state of Louisiana is currently dealing with the fallout from Hurricane Ida's devastation. It's had wide-ranging impacts on the area, including displacing the New Orleans Saints for the time being.

The NFL family has rallied to help with relief efforts, and Saints star Cam Jordan is the latest to join in.

Jordan has donated $40,000 to Second Harvest Food Bank, and he's also offering Cameo videos at just $4 to raise awareness about child hunger in Louisiana. It's great to see one of the Saints' team captains taking initiative to lend a helping land. Word of his involvement could help motivate others around the world to do the same.

Saints owner Gayle Benson, plus owners from the Atlanta Falcons, Baltimore Ravens, Carolina Panthers and the NFL's foundation donated a total of $5 million to aid with relief post-Ida.

Players outside of Jordan have given their help as well. Louisiana native Leonard Fournette recently donated $100K towards relief, while Jameis Winston and his foundation have helped distribute essential items to help in the aftermath.

It's touching to see the NFL family pitch in to help Louisiana get through these difficult times.
