Cam Heyward Puts Steelers' Doubters on Notice

The Pittsburgh Steelers were the NFL's only remaining undefeated team until Week 13, when they suffered an upset loss to the Washington Football Team. Pittsburgh's defeat showcased some glaring weak spots, and observers are casting doubts about them being serious contenders now that they have a blemished record.
Defensive tackle Cam Heyward isn't concerned about the doubters, however.

Heyward is taking criticism of the team in stride and not letting it affect his confidence. If anything, the doubters are giving him the motivation to go out there and show them why they're wrong.
At 11-1, the Steelers are still tied for the best record in the league with the Kansas City Chiefs. Their defense, despite some important injuries, is ranked No. 1 in Football Outsiders' defensive DVOA metric. They also have a deadly offense with Ben Roethlisberger at the helm and a cache of receiving options for him to find on a weekly basis.
Some doubters have tried to poke holes in the Steelers' schedule to this point, saying their record is not truly accurate given their opponents to this point. Pittsburgh can make a statement with a win in Week 14 against the surging 9-3 Buffalo Bills. FanDuel Sportsbook has Buffalo as 1.5-point favorites in that matchup.
