After missing his second game of the NFL season, Atlanta Falcons wide receiver announced some shocking news on Sunday. The talented fourth-year wide receiver revealed he will step away from the NFL for the time being to focus on his mental health.

Calvin Ridley Update
Ridley missed his second game of the 2021 season in Week 8 after an announcement that was made just hours before kickoff against the Carolina Panthers. He previously missed Week 5 against the New York Jets for similar reasons.
There was a lot of high expectations for Ridley entering the 2021 campaign after longtime Falcons wideout Julio Jones moved on to the Tennessee Titans. Ridley's seen double-digit targets in four of his five games played, notching 31 receptions for 281 yards and two touchdowns.
It's unclear the length of Ridley's potential absence.
