Calvin Ridley Injury Update Still Leaves Russell Gage and Olamide Zaccheaus With Bleak Fantasy Outlook in Week 15

Calvin Ridley suffered an abdominal injury in the Atlanta Falcons' Week 14 loss to the Carolina Panthers, and that injury will now reportedly sideline him for the remainder of the season.

This puts an end to an incredibly promising sophomore campaign for Ridley. He saw 93 targets, accounting for 17 percent of the team's total while logging 27 percent of the air yards. He found the end zone twice, and his 15.2 PPR fantasy points per game put him at WR19 for the season.

Russell Gage has already been seeing some increased work lately, with Julio Jones missing time, and Olamide Zaccheaus showed some flashes with a huge 93-yard TD reception on Sunday. Neither figures to offer much fantasy value moving forward though.

Austin Hooper returned to action this week, and in games in which he's been active, he has accounted for 18 percent of the Falcons' targets. For Julio Jones that number is 22 percent.

Making things even worse for Gage and Zaccheaus, they're greeted with a brutal matchup against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 15. The Niners have allowed the NFL's fourth-fewest PPR fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts.

Likely to be held to limited volume and drawing a poor matchup, neither Gage nor Zaccheaus land on our list of top waiver wire pickups for Week 15.
