Calvin Ridley Injury Update Doesn't Hurt Week 14 Fantasy Outlook Against Panthers

Calvin Ridley was officially limited at practice for the Atlanta Falcons on Wednesday. That kind of designation doesn't carry much weight until later in the week though, and fantasy owners shouldn't let that sour them on his outlook in a Week 14 matchup with the Carolina Panthers.

If anything stands to downgrade Ridley's fantasy outlook this week, it's the return of Julio Jones, who also got in limited work and is expected to return to action on Sunday.
Ridley caught eight passes for 91 yards with Jones sidelined on Thanksgiving Day, which is up from his averages of 5.7 receptions and 85.3 yards in three games with Jones since the Falcons' Week 9 bye.
He saw only two fewer targets (27) than Jones (29) in those three games though, and while Julio is still the clear No. 1 in Atlanta, Ridley's role keeps him firmly in play as a fantasy threat.

This matchup should also help them both thrive, as the Panthers have allowed the NFL's 10th-most PPR fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts.
Accounting for both suiting up, our Week 14 PPR fantasy football rankings have Ridley at WR24 while Jones checks in at the top of the list as the WR1.
