Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Calvin Ridley has remained out of the spotlight since stepping away from football back in October to focus on his mental health. The young wide receiver, and former first-round draft pick, recently broke his silence amidst a flurry of recent trade rumors.

It was a simple tweet that could speculate he may be ready to return to the NFL next year, even if it's not for the Falcons.

Calvin Ridley Trade Destinations

Ridley enters the final year of his current contract before hitting unrestricted free agency in 2023. He's a likely trade candidate thanks to Atlanta's cap situation and the uncertainty about his past year with the team.

The fourth-year wideout posted a career effort during his last full season in 2020, tallying 90 receptions for 1,374 yards and 10 total touchdowns.

Ridley has been linked to several potential destinations, including the Cleveland Browns and Detroit Lions: two teams in need of another wide receiver threat.
