Budding Jaguars Star Joins Tee Higgins Recruitment Efforts

Heading into the final year of his current contract, Tee Higgins has emerged as a popular candidate to find his name in numerous offseason trade rumors. It's highly unlikely Higgins ends up on another squad, especially considering the Cincinnati Bengals have reported interest in a contract extension, but that doesn't stop the rumors from flying.
It also doesn't stop fellow players around the league from recruiting his talents.
One member of the Jacksonville Jaguars, and a former teammate at Clemson, made his recruitment pitch on Friday night.

Jaguars running back Travis Etienne posted a story on Instagram highlighting a Higgins' touchdown pass from Trevor Lawrence, the franchise quarterback in Jacksonville. The three (Etienne, Higgins and Lawrence) overlapped at Clemson for two seasons (2018 and 2019).
It doesn't hurt that Higgins was a favorite target of Lawrence during this span. The eventual No. 33 overall pick caught 25 touchdown passes from Lawrence in the two years the played together, eclipsing more than 2,000 receiving yards.
It's easy to see that nostalgia is a good recruitment tactic in this scenario, but it's not like Higgins is struggling to find chemistry with his current QB, Joe Burrow. The two have spent three seasons together in Cincinnati, connecting for 2,120 yards and 13 touchdowns in the last two years alone.
Dream on, Jaguars fans, dream on.
