Buccaneers Land Massive Steal in CBS' Latest 2022 NFL Mock Draft
By Larry Rupp

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers brought back veterans Leonard Fournette and Giovani Bernard to head their backfield in 2022. Developing talented youth on the roster is never a bad idea, though, which makes the player the Buccaneers grab in CBS Sports' latest NFL mock draft a massive steal.
Three-round mock draft just went up on @CBSSports and pretty sure everyone will agree with all 105 picks. https://t.co/55mWKbFFF9

Buccaneers Mock Draft
Ryan Wilson projects Tampa Bay to be the landing spot for running back Breece Hall toward the end of the second round (No. 60 overall). The simple fact here is that Hall is widely regarded as the No. 1 RB prospect in this class. Putting that kind of talent on the Buccaneers' offense is dangerous.
Hall is also taken after Michigan State's Kenneth Walker in this instance. Walker became a household name for a few massive games this past fall, yet still posted less scrimmage yards and touchdowns than Hall. The only reason to rank Walker above the Iowa State standout would be owner preference.
Overall, Hall racked up 1,472 rushing yards (5.8 average) to go along with 302 receiving yards (8.4 average) during his junior season with the Cyclones. He scored an impressive 23 touchdowns for the second straight year and proved to NFL scouts that he has no trouble handling a large workload.
Adding a spark plug in the backfield certainly wouldn't hurt for new head coach Todd Bowles. After all, the Buccaneers averaged the seventh-fewest rushing yards per game last season (96.3). Hall's ability to break tackles with his power and juke defenders with his quickness gives him massive upside.
Tampa Bay is a team to watch out for at the 2022 NFL Draft. All of the action gets started on Thursday, April 28.
