Buccaneers Get Great News on Rookie's Injury Update

After winning last season's Super Bowl, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are gearing up for another championship run in 2021. While they brought back most of their championship-winning roster, they've also made a few additions, including drafting linebacker Joe Tryon with the 32nd overall pack at this year's draft.
Even though we're well into the offseason and teams have been running minicamps, the Buccaneers still haven't seen Tryon in action due to him undergoing a small knee procedure earlier in May. Fortunately, Tampa Bay got some great news when it came to the rookie's latest injury update.

Joe Tryon Injury Update
Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians said that Tryon is "real close" to returning to team practice now that his injury has had a chance to heal. While that isn't an exact date, Buccaneers fans should be pretty excited to hear their coach's optimism.
Tryon didn't play last college football campaign after opting out once the Pac-12 Conference postponed the start of the season due to COVID-19. Nevertheless, the 22-year-old already showed a glimpse of his potential in previous seasons.
A 2019 second-team All-Pac-12 player, Tryon recorded 61 total tackles, 9.0 sacks and 2 passes defended over two seasons with the Washington Huskies. However, ProFootballFocus projected that Tryon would be a third-round pick this year, so he'll need a good rookie showing to justify why Tampa Bay selected him in Round 1.
The Buccaneers currently have the second-best odds to win Super Bowl 56 at +650, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
