The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will have to be firing on all cylinders on Sunday night to keep up with the Kansas City Chiefs on the scoreboard. The good news is that reinforcements are on the way. Chris Godwin, Russell Gage and Julio Jones are all expected to return from lower-body injuries in Week 4.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Injury News

Godwin has been sidelined ever since he left in the second half of a Week 1 win with a hamstring issue. The team was cautious in his recovery process given he is also coming off a torn ACL. Keep in mind Godwin led the Buccaneers in targets (127), receptions (98) and receiving yards (1,103) in 2021.

Meanwhile, Gage popped up on the injury report with a hamstring injury of his own earlier in the week. It was never considered serious and now all signs point to him avoiding an inactive ruling. The fifth-year pro balled out with 87 yards and 1 touchdown on a team-high 12 receptions in a Week 3 loss.

Jones is the last piece to the puzzle. The veteran pass-catcher showcased in Week 1 that he may be Tampa Bay's best deep threat as he averaged 23.0 yards per catch. Jones has missed the last two weeks with a partially torn PCL in his knee. He almost played in Week 3 and is now officially back.

Pro Bowler Mike Evans and recent free agent signing Cole Beasley round out an intriguing wide receiver group for quarterback Tom Brady to utilize in Week 4. For now, the Buccaneers are slated as 1.5-point home favorite with -116 moneyline odds against the Chiefs, per FanDuel Sportsbook.
