It's been a strange preseason for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, to say the least, but the team finally got some good news recently.
According to head coach Todd Bowles, wide receiver Russell Gage is "on track" to play in Week 1 against the Dallas Cowboys. This is good news not just for the Buccaneers, but for Gage's fantasy managers as well.

Gage missed the entire preseason with a hamstring injury, but Bowles thinks he'll be ready to go after practicing on back-to-back days for the first time this week. The 26-year-old wide receiver originally sustained the injury during a joint practice with the Miami Dolphins last month.
While he may be out of sync with his new teammates early on (especially Tom Brady), Gage can still provide a boost to Tampa Bay's receiving corps, especially if Chris Godwin isn't able to suit up in Week 1. If Godwin sits, Gage will be the clear WR2 behind Mike Evans.
Brady will need all the weapons he can get in what's expected to be a high-scoring game against the Cowboys. Their Week 1 clash currently has a projected total of 50.5 points on FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds.
