Love was expected to be one of the first running backs off the board following his 2017 season where he rushed for 2,118 yards and 19 touchdowns. He won the Doak Walker Award for the nation's best running back, was the Pac-12 Player of the Year, earned All-American honors, and finished second in the Heisman voting.

Instead of forgoing his senior season and entering the draft, Love returned to school as a Heisman favorite. He fell short of expectations because of a nagging ankle injury that limited him to just 10 games. Love rushed for 739 yards and six touchdowns while his yards-per-carry average plummeted from 8.1 to 4.5. As if all of that wasn't bad enough, Love tore his ACL on the final play of his college career, keeping him out of the NFL Combine.

Carolina Panthers (No. 154) Chicago Bears (No. 152)

The Panthers have do-it-all Christian McCaffrey as their starter and re-signed Cameron Artis-Payne to be the primary backup, but they could still use another body on the roster. The Panthers have reportedly been looking for another running back and Love fits their need for a run-first back.

The Bears have Tarik Cohen, but they traded Jordan Howard. Love could be the between-the-tackle runner who is also a home run threat, something the Bears need badly in the running game outside of Cohen.
