The Boston Bruins currently hold a commanding 3-0 series lead over the Carolina Hurricanes in the Eastern Conference Finals, and the B's can finish the sweep in Thursday night's Game 4. We could be in for a close contest, as both teams' moneyline is listed at -110, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
As it's always smart to hear what those in the industry have to say before placing a bet, here are some expert predictions for Thursday night's game.
Bruins vs Hurricanes Predictions
Winners and Whiners
The crew at Winners and Whiners is picking the Hurricanes to keep their season alive with a victory on Thursday night. They argue that Carolina has been impressive on the road thus far, outside of the Game 3 loss, and that Boston hasn't been nearly as effective when playing away from TD Garden.
The team at Doc's Sports is also picking the Hurricanes to win outright in Game 4. Doc's Sports argues that Carolina has done a great job creating scoring opportunities, starting 54.3 percent of its possessions in the offensive zone, which ranks No. 2 in the NHL.
On the other hand, the staff at Stat Salt is picking the Bruins to close out the seires on the road. Stat Salt argues that Tukka Rask and the rest of Boston's defense could keep Carolina's offense at bay and lead the Bruins to victory.
Two of the three experts we highlighted here are picking the Hurricanes to stave off elimination, while Stat Salt is the lone expert picking the Bruins to win Game 4.
