Bruce Arians Offers Cryptic Answer When Asked About Chris Godwin Health
By Max Staley

Tampa Bay Buccaneers' wideout Chris Godwin is coming off an unreal breakout in 2019. He tallied 1,333 receiving yards on 86 catches, scoring 9 touchdowns in just 14 games played. A hamstring injury robbed him of his final two games of the year, and that makes his occasional absence from practice recently a bit concerning.
Godwin has missed three of the last six practices. When asked about it, Bruce Arians responded as only he can:
Arians on Chris Godwin missing practice: For me to know, nobody else to find out https://t.co/4mDbScTT8Z

The fact that Arians is seemingly joking about the whole situation certainly suggests that it's nothing serious. Plus, Godwin was seen making circus catches pretty recently, so this is likely much ado about nothing.

The absences could be contract related, as his rookie deal is almost up. but it's hard to imagine Godwin willfully missing time during his first year with Tom Brady at the helm.
Whatever the reason, Bucs fans shouldn't overreact too much – Godwin still looks primed for a monster season in 2020.
