Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Ronald Jones didn't start the 2021 season how he was hoping. He was the team's starter in Week 1 against the Dallas Cowboys, but an early fumble led Bruce Arians to relegate him to the bench in favor of Leonard Fournette.

Arians has now named his starter in the backfield ahead of Week 2.

Jones is set to start once again at RB despite his mishap. It's clear his stint in the doghouse during the Cowboys game was enough to send a message. Now he'll look to prove to his coach that he made the right decision against the Atlanta Falcons.

Jones saw just 4 rushing attempts last Thursday before his turnover. Fournette recorded 9 rushes and 7 targets with Jones on the bench, but he also mishandled a pass from Tom Brady that turned into an interception.

With Giovani Bernard only being used as a receiver to this point, the ground game will continue to flow through Jones and Fournette. Another fumble from Jones, though, could turn the tide in Fournette's favor.

Tampa Bay is a massive 11.5-point favorite over the Falcons in Week 2, according to FanDuel Sportsbook
