The Cleveland Browns are one of a few NFL teams vying for the services of Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson. Rumors surrounding this potential trade destination emerged on Sunday, but now the Browns are taking a more official step.
Cleveland will meet with Watson on Tuesday in order to pitch him on the idea of waiving his no-trade clause to come play for the Browns.

Watson's no-trade clause has created a unique situation for potential Watson suitors. Both the New Orleans Saints and Carolina Panthers met with the three-time Pro Bowler on Monday, seemingly setting up sales pitch styled meetings commonly seen in free agency.
The biggest question mark around Cleveland's pursuit of Watson is incumbent quarterback Baker Mayfield. Plagued by underwhelming performances and recent injury history, Mayfield is in line for a longer-term extension this season.
NFL circles would agree that Watson is an obvious upgrade, especially following a 2020 campaign in which the dual-threat playmaker tossed for 4,823 yards including 33 touchdowns and another 444 yards and 3 TDs on the ground.
Browns fans will pay close attention to Tuesday's meeting and the possibility of landing a game-changer at QB. For now, Cleveland holds +3000 odds (15th) to win Super Bowl 57 on FanDuel Sportsbook.
