The Cleveland Brown have made a move to replace punter Jamie Gillian given he is likely to miss Sunday's game after testing positive for COVID-19. NFL veteran Dustin Colquitt has been signed to the 53-man active roster and will sub in for the Scottish starter for the time being.

Browns News
Colquitt was recently released by the Atlanta Falcons after averaging 47.7 yards per punt across six games played, which is the highest mark of his 17-year career. The 39-year-old has been named to two Pro Bowls and was a part of the Super Bowl-winning Kansas City Chiefs back in 2019-20.
It's interesting to point out that Colquitt's younger brother, Britton, handled punting duties in Cleveland from 2016-18 before moving on to the Minnesota Vikings. Colquitt is no stranger to playing in cold weather and will also act as the holder for place kicker Chase McLaughlin.
Gillain is averaging 43.9 yards per punt through 12 games this season and placed two balls inside the 20 during the Brown's Week 12 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. This is the second time the 24-year-old has tested positive after spending time on the COVID-19 list in the offseason.
The Browns will look to stay in the AFC playoff race when they meet up with the Ravens again in Week 14 of the NFL season. They are currently slated as 2.5-point home favorites in that game and have odds set at +215 to secure a postseason berth, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
