The Cleveland Browns fully understand that they are successful when they win in the trenches, particularly with exceptional offensive line play. Cleveland locked up an important member of the O-line with a massive contract extension on Tuesday.

Cleveland signed guard Wyatt Teller to a four-year, $56.8 million extension according to reports.

Wyatt Teller Contract

The extension vaults Teller into one of the NFL's highest-paid guards across the league. His contract averages at $14.2 million per year and slots behind just Brandon Scherff and Joe Thuney in terms of yearly contracts.

Teller has continued to improve since joining the Browns after a rookie season with the Buffalo Bills. The fourth-year guard carved out a deeper role each and every year and has now played 100% of Cleveland's offensive snaps in 2021.

The former fifth-round draft pick is playing at an elite level this year and owns a 89.8 overall rating on ProFootballFocus while allowing just 1 sack and 4 penalties in 588 offensive snaps.

Cleveland ranks second in the league with 160.2 rushing yards per game and averages an absurd 178 rushing yards per game across their five wins.
