Browns Rookie Weighs in on Matchup Against Travis Kelce in Week 1

When the Browns selected Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft, it was considered a steal. After impressive play as a versatile linebacker at Notre Dame, Cleveland viewed his flexibility as a perfect fit in their talented defense.
Well, that adaptability is being put to a huge test in Week 1 when the Browns take on the Kansas City Chiefs. Owusu-Koramoah will be matched up with superstar tight end Travis Kelce to begin his NFL career.
Owusu-Koramoah says he is fully up to the task.
"A high-rated guy. It is not foreign to me to have some type of matchup as such. Watched a lot of film and had to watch a lot of film to be able to be ready for a guy who is as talented as him. We will be ready. I will be ready. As a team, we are looking forward to game-planning correctly."

Kelce has been the league's best tight end for a while now, and a premier receiving threat. Going up against a rookie should be an easy task for him, but Owusu-Koramoah's confidence should be encouraging for Browns fans.
