Browns Insider Reveals Why Jarvis Landry Isn't Coming Back

When Jarvis Landry was released by the Browns, there were some initial rumors that suggested a return to Cleveland could still potentially happen. That hasn't come to fruition and the latest rumors suggest the door might be closed on that following the Browns' selection of wideout David Bell in the third round of the NFL Draft.

Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer says of Bell that he will "probably initially work in the slot, which would make Landry expendable."
Landry has been connected to both the Ravens and Saints in recent weeks, but nothing solid so far in terms of a potential deal. The 29-year-old wideout still has the talent to help a team. Even in a down season last year Landry had 570 yards with a pair of touchdowns and 52 catches in 12 games.
The Browns enter the 2022 NFL season looking to bounce back in a big way from their 8-9 finish last year. FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds show this bounce back is in the cards, considering Cleveland holds the 10th-best odds (+1900) to win Super Bowl 57.
