The Cleveland Browns are coming off of a hard-fought 13-3 win over the Baltimore Ravens in Week 15. Running back Nick Chubb was a key part of that effort, recording 99 yards on the ground and helping Cleveland's struggling offense move the ball down the field.
However, Cleveland has received some concerning injury news on Chubb after that contest.
The stud running back logged a DNP at practice on Tuesday due to a foot issue. Chubb hasn't popped up on the injury report this year with that kind of ailment, so it appears he may have picked it up against Baltimore.
This could obviously just be a rest day for the RB, especially since the team is playing on Saturday again this week. However, head coach Kevin Stefanski had a slightly worrisome answer when asked about Chubb suiting up against the New Orleans Saints.
Everyone is dealing with something at this point in the season, so it's no surprise to see Cleveland's leading rusher pop up on the injury report. Hopefully, this injury is nothing serious that prevents him from playing in Week 16.
Chubb's status is one to key an eye on ahead of Saturday's contest. The Browns are slated as 2.5-point favorites in that Saints matchup, according to FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds.
